Well he's a chick magnet, if you know what I mean...

We can be heroes. Best. Show. Ever.

Pat died, and I actually cried.

Ricky, you would be an asset to Home and Away.

And Ja'mie, there's hope for you yet.

So that was tonight. Last night was MxPx and Motion City Soundtrack at the HiFi. Motion City Soundtrack were impressive. MxPx were there usual awesome selves.

22 and still seeing Mxpx? Too old you say? Nah, I can still keep up with the kids anyday.

And Mike, you are still hot as fuck.

"We might have to have a rumble"

"Is that your band or something?"
"The Clash? Ah, no, they're a British Punk Band circa 1977-1983ish, original line-up anyway."
"How Vintage!"

Oh Cliff. You are hot.

It's 9:30pm on a Saturday and I'm at home "studying" [read: procrastinating; watching a bit of Bring It On; making endless cups of tea; eating dark chocolate...].

I'm not going out as I have to write an essay on the femme fatale in films like Double Indemnity. So its an interesting topic, its just a lot of theory to get through and a lot of noir flicks to watch.

I did, however, go out on Thursday to the Suicide Girls DVD launch at Ding Dong.
Above are some pictures of the lovely Man's Ruin Burlesque for your viewing pleasure, as well as the "dangerous sexuality" of Barbara Stanwyck as Phyllis Dietrichson in Double Indemnity.

Better get back to the books I guess... right after I have some more tea.

The New Jan Brady

I need a new look. I'm at work right now and my new boss didn't think I'd be into bands etc, even though I am. Grr.

It's a constant thing with me that I don't think my clean-cut image reflects my personality. Part of it is that I rarely have all this spare cash to get piercings, cool haircuts etc. It's something I'm going to work on though.

In other news, I'm going to a Swing Dancing lesson tonight! The friend who I was going with pulled out but I think I'll go anyway. We went to see a swing band on Sunday arvo at the Night Cat where lots of people were dancing and it looked like heaps of fun. And not too 'trendy' either, which I have issues with in terms of some of the other things I do. Anything that involves any kind of 'scene' can be lame.

And the boy left for overseas on Tuesday. I went to the airport. It was a good couple of months.

But its all jake. Everything is still good- just a couple more months of uni until I'm finished, work is nice and social- had a big one for my boss's going away last Friday which ended up at 'Panic' at the Rochester- and then hopefully I'm off overseas next year... if I can get the money together.

Once more, with feeling...

Last night the boy and I stayed at this hotel.

A good time was had by all. ;)
